Went today in the afternoonNever again. Worst co op in history. I was forced to go here because the Tesco was out the way ..They only have tills open massive quePeople buy millions of fags and lottery tickets on kiosk then pay with the council estate benefits in cashThe self check out never works so slowAlways one never of staff has to authorise another in the till or checkout. But they are never close by so on the headset calling for then takes ages. You can see the massive que everyone pissed off . What a jokeBig expensive store but have to wait like In a immigrant Que to pay. I see people just left the stuff on self check out and walked off then the have to reset . That takes time. One guy even just picked the stuff up gave a finger to the camera and walked out didn't pay because the machine froze. He told th staff and they pretend to be deaf.I waited minutes in the co op immigration que while watching all the drama unfold around me.. this place can give you blood pressure. star is too good for it.It's now all about the money not customer serviceBring back cash in hand boss man shops

I have found this to be a very good "convenience" store, not as large as a supermarket, but good for top-up shopping or small amounts of shopping. There are plenty of car park spaces including "blue badge", but please be aware that parking is strictly limited to minutes with parking control cameras. Those who have not visited recently may be unaware of this.Inside the store there is a very useful free cash machine, self-service tills, and an attended till. There are further attended tills which are only used at the busiest times. There are "click and collect" facilities too for Amazon and eBay online orders. The store has long opening hours every day, which is another bonus.Overall, prices are higher than the main supermarkets, but it's a compromise which is sometimes worth paying for the convenience of local shopping with a wide choice.

I visited this store recently. There's one member of staff in particular, unfortunately, I don't know her name, however she will go above & beyond to be helpful. She's usually very chatty & friendly, . . . . .it makes the whole shopping experience a great visit! I was looking for a sauerkraut product, she left the till, & disappeared to search for me! I will have to check out her name next time I go, & put it in a review. A big 'thank you' to her for now!

The store itself is handy to local residents especially with its local deliveries. Prices are what you expect from Co-op, not the cheapest, but convenience comes at a cost. Staff as a whole are helpful, polite and very friendly - I say as a whole as at the moment bad fish spoils the pond. Senior member of management (I believe the Under Manager) thinks it's ok to belittle the staff in front of customers, if that isn't bad enough, it's appropriate for her to about at members of staff who were helping customers at the cigarette kiosk. Surely this type of behaviour should be dealt with behind closed stores and not on the shop floor? Very poor people skills from this member of staff who would benefit from a bit of retraining.Apart from that store is excellent for the local area.
